George Taylor
biography
A physically strong, tall, rangy player, George joined the club for the start of the 2022/23 season and made his debut in the 1s' 3-1 home defeat to the Marlburians on October 1st.
Initially used in central midfield, his early appearances marked him out as someone capable of flourishing in the upper echelons of Arthurian League football. His first goals came in the 4-2 defeat away to Chigwell and he added another a month later in the 4-2 win over the Marlburians.
His scoring prowess saw him switched later in the season to a striking role and he flourished, coming off the bench to score in the 2-2 draw at the Salopians, adding another in the 6-2 demolition of Lancing on the Hill before scoring his first hat-trick for the club in the vital 5-3 win at the Rugbeians in late March.
