Weekend Round-Up: 3s suffer narrow defeat
Just the one OHAFC fixture this weekend, as the 3s travelled down to Kent to face Division Four leaders the Old Tonbridgian 2s.
In a tight first half, chances proved hard to come by and it was little surprise the interval arrived with the sides still deadlocked. But the hosts scored early in the second half with a well-placed header and a second a quarter of an hour later ensured the visitors had a mountain to climb.
Tobi Adebayo tapped in with two minutes remaining after Ed Stewart had seen his initial effort saved, but it proved too little, too late.
The 3s remain in some difficulty at the foot of Division Four, although with their two remaining fixtures both against bottom side the Old King's Scholars, avoiding relegation is firmly in their own hands.
