Weekend Round-Up: 2s return to winning ways
The OHAFC 2nd XI won for the first time in 2025 on Saturday afternoon, securing a 4-2 win over the Old Epsomians in the only Harrow fixture played.
The victory in Chiswick provided two contenders for goal of the season, Owain James crashing in a superb left foot shot from outside the box and substitute Matt Ede ending a slaloming run past several defenders with a composed low finish into the bottom corner. In the first half, Ed Stewart and Miles Kellock both found themselves unmarked at the far post to apply simple finishes and set the visitors up for the win – two late Epsom efforts proved little more than a consolation.
The 2s have just one fixture remaining now, a trip to face the Old Chigwellians 2s in a fortnight’s time.
