Weekend Round-Up: 2s involved in thrilling draw
Both the OHAFC 2s and 3s were involved in exciting draws on Saturday, but both sides ended the day with very different emotions.
The 2s travelled to Essex for a notoriously tricky away game against the Old Brentwoods 3s and despite taking the lead inside five minutes with a goal from joint-skipper Tristan David, found themselves trailing 3-1 at the break, the hosts much the better team.
But an extraordinary second half saw the home side wilt in the face of a Harrow onslaught, goals from Miles Kellock, David Griffiths, Arthur Leney and a second from Tristan David earning the Blues a 5-4 lead with six minutes remaining.
Disappointingly, for the second time this season the 2s conceded a last-minute goal to rob them of victory - a Brentwoods corner was cleared to the edge of the box and thumped back in with a thunderous volley to snatch a share of the spoils for the hosts. The draw sees the OHAFC 2s slip from second to third in Division Three.

There wasn't nearly as much drama on the Hill in the 3rd XIs fixture against Old Westminster 2s, but it was another fine volley that earned a share of the points - this time 3s skipper Joss Awdry fired home to ensure his team secured their first point of the season in a 2-2 draw. Earlier, Alvin Adefarasin had given the Blues the lead but the visitors responded to take a 2-1 lead prior to half-time. Although the 3s remain bottom of Division Four, the performance is sure to boost morale going into the busy upcoming period.
