Weekend Round-Up: 3s end season with defeat
The OHAFC 3rd Xi ended their season with something of a whimper, succumbing to a 7-1 defeat away to title-chasing Old Haberdashers on the astroturf in Enfield on Saturday.
Despite little riding on the game from a Harrow perspective, the Blues travelled with a strong squad of thirteen and a decent first-half performance saw them trailing by just a solitary goal at the break.
But Habs turned up the heat in the second half, swarming forwards and scoring four goals in the first twenty minutes to kill the game as a contest. Two further goals completed the rout, although the visitors had the last word when Ed Stewart rose highest head home a consolation goal with eight minutes remaining.
The 3s finish fifth in the Division Four table with six wins and two draws from their sixteen games played.
The final team sheet and match report of their season are now available in the results section with a full review of the 3s season to come in the next few weeks.
