Weekend Round-Up: 1s exit Dunn after extra-time drama
Despite a valiant effort in the pouring rain, the OHAFC 1st XI exited the Dunn Cup at the first time of asking for the fourth season in succession, losing a thrilling tie to Premier Division side the Old Chigwellians 3-2 after extra-time.
The visitors had taken the lead before the break but a Charlie Bick double, the first a superb effort from the edge of the box, sent the home side into raptures and had them dreaming of a famous victory.
But the Chigwellians showed their mettle as they equalised with five minutes of the ninety remaining before going on to seal the win ten minutes into extra-time against a tiring Harrow side.
On the adjacent pitch, the OHAFC 3rd XI also led at home to Old Brentwoods 3s but their eventual defeat was rather more spectacular - a red card for Alvin Adefarasin just before the half-hour mark saw a 2-1 lead morph into a final score of 8-2 to the side from Essex.
