The OHAFC Vets begin their annual quest to win the Derrick Moore Veterans Cup on Sunday morning with the visit of Repton Vets to the Bank of England Ground in Roehampton.

The OHAFC's record in the competition has been almost unrivalled in recent years with two Cup wins, two final appearances and a further runners-up berth in the Plate competition.

Last season John Wyn-Evans led his side back to the Cup final once again and a tough battle ensued with the Old Foresters - the two sides finishing level at 1-1 after normal time after Harry Hoffen had cancelled out Forest's opener. Disappointingly, Forest proved much the stronger in extra-time and two early goals killed the contest, the final score 4-1.

The OHAFC and Repton have met only once in Vets Cup football over the past six seasons, Repton running out 3-1 winners in the Plate quarter-final in 2015.
