Superb first half helps 2s to third straight win
The OHAFC 2nd XI produced a superb first half display to race into a 3-0 lead away to Lancing 2s on Saturday before weathering a second half storm to eventually emerge victorious. A last-minute Lancing effort gave the scoreline a closer look than perhaps it deserved, but the Blues claim a third straight League win to move to fifth in the Division Two table.
Star of the show was 3s regular Harry Bick, who scored twice in a minute after another 3s stalwart, Connor Barrett, had given the visitors the lead, flicking in from close range following a goalmouth scramble after a corner.
Lancing were more physical after the break and reduced the deficit on the hour mark. But Charlie Walsh remained fairly untroubled in the Harrow goal and it took a controversial goal in the last minute to reduce the lead further - Will Monroe was clearly shoved in the back in the build-up, but despite Harrow protestations the effort stood.
Saturday's team lineup is now available in the results section here, with the match report due in shortly.
