Solitary mistake costs 1st XI dearly

2 Feb 2015

A single careless pass less than ten minutes from time cost the OHAFC 1st XI a point after a determined and disciplined display away to high-flying Lancing.

Harrow had restricted the hosts to few chances in a game played in poor conditions in Kingston. But an under-hit pass across the penalty area saw Lancing score with under ten minutes to go and consign the visitors to their ninth defeat in thirteen League games.

The two sides will meet again on Saturday, this time in Harrow, for a place in the Arthur Dunn Cup semi-final.
