Another Alex Smith hat-trick helped the OHAFC 3rd XI to a comfortable 6-2 win over the Old Salopians 2s in 1st round of the Junior League Cup on Saturday.

Playing on the Kings House astorturf in Chiswick for the third match in succssion, Nick Kapoor's men dominated for long spells. They led 2-1 at the break, strikes from Smith and Harry Bick sandwiching a scrambled Salopian goal following a corner.

The second half saw the Blues pull clear with two further efforts from Smith, another from Bick and one for midfielder Tommy Faber.

The side now have to wait to discover their last 16 opponents, with a potentially tricky away tie to Old Westminsters 1st XI lying in wait - Westminsters face Eastbournians in a fortnight's time.
