2nd half collapse costs 2s first points of season
A poor second half display from the OHAFC 2nd XI cost them the chance of earning their first points of the season on Saturday as KCS Wimbledon came from a goal down to win 2-1.
Harrow gave a good account of themselves in the first half, hitting the post through a Lederman curler before Jack Alhadeff opened the scoring soon after, tapping in at the far post after an excellent run and cross from skipper Geoff Taunton-Collins.
But poor marking at a free-kick a minute into the second half allowed the hosts to level and from that point on Harrow struggled. The winner came fifteen minutes from time following an unfortunate ricochet in midfield that fell perfectly for the Wimbledon striker.
Harrow must now dust themselves down and go again with a huge game next weekend: the visit of Eton 2s.
