Relegation nears as 1st XI let another lead slip
The OHAFC 1st XI once again failed to hold onto a lead on Saturday afternoon, losing at home to the Old Marlburians and in the process ensuring they will almost certainly suffer a second relegation in three seasons from the Arthurian League Premier Division.
Despite leading fellow strugglers the Old Marlburians 3-2 at half-time on Saturday, a poor second half display allowed the visitors to open up a 5-3 lead before a late fluke goal from Charlie Bick ensured a final few minutes of tension.
Marlborough hung on however and are now clear of trouble with Harrow needing a minor miracle from their final two games against Brentwood and champions-elect Charterhouse to have any chance of avoiding the drop.
