On this weekend...
Continuing our look back through the OHAFC archives at games played on this weekend last season, three seasons ago and five seasons ago...
Last Season: November 24th 2012
1st XI: Lost 3-1 at home to Old Cholmelians in a game characterised by the driving rain it was played in and several defensive lapses from both sides. The home side levelled thanks to a calm finish from Nick Defty following good work from Charlie Stebbings but a careless ball across the box gifted Cholms the lead for the second time and a late third confirmed the points.
2nd XI: Won 3-2 at home to Forest 2's thanks to a superb hat-trick from Dave Stead. Harrow fell behind in the first half but Stead turned the game around thanks to two headers, the first from Woolley's cross, the second from Joe Bone's free-kick. Ten minutes after the break the striker completed his hat-trick with a side-footed effort and despite a late Forest rally, Arjun Chopra's team held on for the three points.
3rd XI: No fixture
Three Seasons Ago: November 26th 2011
1st XI: Lost 4-2 at Brentwood following a dreadful start that saw them 2-0 down within half an hour. The visitors started the second half strongly however and levelled thanks to a Freddie Brunt strike and a Lederman penalty after his shot had been handled inside the box.
The referee then took centre stage, awarding two further penalties to Brentwood. The first was superbly saved by debutant Charlie McHardy. The home side then retook the lead following a scrappy effort and had the referee to thank for a second dubious penalty award which saw the home win confirmed in the closing moments.
2nd XI: Lost 5-0 at Eton 2's, the side heavily depleted due to injuries and lack of availability.
3rd XI: No fixture
Five Seasons Ago: November 21st 2009
1st XI: No fixture
2nd XI: Suffered a 2-1 reverse at home to Charterhouse 2's, Freddie Brunt scoring the consolation from the spot.
