With the new Barclays Premiership season just eight days away, now is the time to begin planning and entering your squad for the official Fantasy League game.

This season will see the third incarnation of the OHAFC league with competitors aiming to follow in the footsteps of inaugural champion veteran 1st XI winger David Lederman and last season's victor the 2nd XI striker Anthony Beresford.

To give title aspirants an indication of the kind of score they will need to emerge victorious from 38 weeks of predicting the movers and shakers in England's top flight, the first OHAFC League was won with Lederman's total of 2,064 points, both Dave Stead and Paul Molloy also posting scores north of 2,000.

Last season, the standard was raised significantly with no less than half the 20 competitors earning over 2,000 points and champion Beresford requiring over 2,400 points to see off second placed Alex Cater.

The 2014/15 campaign promises to be an intriguing one however, with far fewer 'obvious' points scorers, particularly among the strikers. Luis Suarez has left, van Persie has injury concerns and Diego Costa of Chelsea is yet to play a Premier League game. Can you rely on the likes of Rooney, Sturridge and Lukaku to consistently find the onion bag? Or will some of the 'fresh meat' become dish of the day - Sanchez, Pelle, Zarate and Alex Cater's favourite, Hull City's Yannick Sagbo...
