OHAFC Fantasy League: February Update
For Leicester City, simply read Ludo Callander.
Surprising long-term League leaders? Check.
No previous record of success? Check.
Showing no signs of faltering as we enter the home stretch? Check.
Both first names beginning with L? Obviously.
It is going to take something quite special from the rest to now stop mighty Ludo Callander from taking home the OHAFC Fantasy League title come May.
While the chasing pack jostle for position behind him, Ludo simply marches on, blissfully oblivious to the pressure that should weigh on any title-chasing team as they enter the final weeks of the season.
Ludo not only tops the table overall but February saw him extend his lead to a whopping 89 points thanks to his unsurpassed monthly total of 267 points.
Ludo now leads from Ollie Bunting who also put in a strong showing in February, amassing 233 points, with only Jon Ingram splitting the two, securing a helpful 237 points in his quest to climb out of mid-table mediocrity.
Theo Gordon and Alec Fogarty both drop below Bunting but stay in the top four, although Foggy is now nearly 40 points outside the top three and will require a decent March to climb back into the podium places.
Harry Turner and Sam Maynard were the other big winners in the month, scoring 226 and 225 points respectively, whilst the bottom three of Brunt, Narula and Patel returned to their losing ways, scoring the bottom three totals in the month.
There is still ample time for players to make a late run for success with several Premier League fixtures postponed leading to gameweeks of 13 or 14 fixtures.
We'll soon find out who has been saving their triple captain and all-out attack chips...
