No OHAFC Easter Tour for first time since 2008
Disappointingly, it has been confirmed that there will be no OHAFC Easter Tour this year - the first time the club has failed to muster a touring side since 2008.
2s stalwart Jack Orr-Ewing had prepared an enticing few days in the Hungarian capital city Budapest - also scene of the 1999 OHAFC Tour - but take-up was poor, with only nine players having paid their deposits by last week's deadline.
Having toured in each of the last nine seasons, it was perhaps inevitable that Tour fatigue would at some stage set in. Earlier this season the Veterans managed a group of just seven for a long weekend in Amsterdam and were forced to settle for a game of Foot Golf in the pouring rain as their main tour activity.
Despite the disappointment, it is expected that next year will see a tour return to the club calendar, with some early talk of another major trip outside of Europe.
Many thanks to Jack Orr-Ewing for his efforts in trying to put together this year's excursion.
