Joke's on the League as Bartlett wins Heads & Tails game
After the traditional Clerkenwell Road meet, seven OHAFC members headed to The Grand Connaught Rooms in Holborn for the umpteenth Arthurian League Dinner.
Messers Defty, Woolley, Orr-Ewing J, Kerry, Coleridge Cole, Bartlett and Cater were pleasantly surprised when they were allocated an exclusive table in the very corner of the room. A goats cheese starter, followed by chicken wrapped in bacon, went down particularly well as did Eastern European waitress Elena who was immaculate for the duration.
By the time Tony Hall had finished introducing guest speaker Matt Holland it was half past ten and way past Woolley's bedtime. Coleridge Cole continued to consume 'full cup after full cup' following Orr-Ewing's generous bar spend earlier in the evening.
The infamous Heads & Tails game was won by Bartlett who celebrated accordingly in front of the top table with Defty and Coleridge Cole both making the 'final ten'.
Photos of the evening will be available in the Media section shortly.
