Hutchinson hat-trick returns 2s to winning ways
OHAFC 2nd XI leading scorer Andres Hutchinson added three more to his tally for the season before he was forced off with injury as the Blues finally returned to winning ways in the League with a 4-2 victory over the Old Aldenhamians on the Harrow School astroturf on Saturday morning.
In a game played in extreme weather conditions, so much so that play was halted for five minutes in the second half during an intense hail storm, the visitors took the lead after half an hour. But the home side produced a devastating spell either side of the break to score three times without reply, Hutchinson racing clear to convert a couple of through-balls from David Lederman and a long pass forwards from Kyle Barrett.
Despite Aldenham pulling a goal back following the weather-induced stoppage, Lederman then converted a free-kick from the edge of the box following a nasty challenge on Hutchinson that saw him limp off with a badly damaged ankle. The win keeps the Blues in third in Division Two ahead of next Saturday's all-important trip away to the Old Carthusians.
