Club drinks on Saturday: Come & meet other weirdos!

5 Nov 2013

The OHAFC will host the first social event of the year on Saturday 9th November at the Princess Victoria on Earls Court Road. Former OHAFC stalwart and now pub landlord Edmund Kissner will host a symposium of educated chat, fine wines and carefully crafted canapes for whoever can strip his sleeve and show his scars from a hard day on the Philathletic pitch.

There is a private area reserved for the teams' loved ones, last night's conquests and weird mates that come on tour. They should not expect any meaningful conversations.

A star studded line up is expected: Entertainment will include Club Captain Ed Poulter singing "Total eclipse of the heart" in a duet with Fred Milln, as well as kick-ups from Oli Malin Hyams (first fifteen seconds only).

Rumours are circulating that part-time striker Kwame Yeboah will guest DJ, and will do his first availability update live on the OHP (which will later be done online on his behalf by Harry Woolley).

Occasional 2nd XI right winger and current professional footballer Joe Bone is unlikely to attend, Notts County having a long away trip to Hartlepool in the FA Cup to contend with.

Please see Sky1's "Harrow: A Very British School", as pre-work for the meeting. This will enable you to understand many of the nuanced impressions and references that will otherwise confuse you.
