Fred Milln into hospital for bone spur operation
3 Aug 2012
OHAFC 1st XI centre-half Fred Milln has this week undergone an operation to remove a bone spur on his ankle.
The self-styled 'hard man' of the team, who has been a key figure in the side over the past few seasons, is expected to be out of action for six weeks, meaning he will face a race against time to be fit for the first League game of the season, likely to be on September 29th.
Speaking to OHAFC.com after his procedure, Milln said: 'It all went fine, although I am hobbling around on crutches at the moment!'
