A superb late goal from Dan Firoozan, his fourth in the last two games, was enough to earn the OHAFC 1st XI a vital 1-0 win at Old Haileyburians and in the process send Ed Poulter's men five points clear at the top of Division One.

In a tight, scrappy game played in a strong wind and on a poor pitch, the Blues struggled to create sufficient chances to find the goal they needed despite looking very solid defensively.

It took a moment of magic a quarter of an hour from time to break the deadlock, Firoozan beating two men inside the box before planting a right foot shot into the far top corner.
