Efficient Eton prove too strong for naive 2s

2 Oct 2017

The OHAFC 2nd XI played well in patches but ultimately were unable to compete with their Etonians counterparts on the Hill on Saturday afternoon, the visitors running out 5-2 winners.

Despite scoring twice through Galen Crawley and David Lederman (pen), defensive errors cost the hosts dearly as they gifted their opponents several opportunities. Eton could even afford to have a penalty well saved by Charlie Walsh in the Harrow goal.

The defeat leaves Geoff Taunton-Collins' men rooted firmly to the foot of Division Two and still searching for their first points of the League season.

Unfortunately, the tough tests keep on coming with a trip to Kent to face Alleynians next weekend - the same side who thumped the OHAFC 6-0 on the opening day of the season.
