Dalzell & Reid in 2s squad for King's Wimbledon game
Harry Dalzell and Charlie Reid will return to the 2nd XI fold for their game vs King's Wimbledon II's on Saturday 5th January with the side needing a reaction from a heavy defeat at Aldenham earlier this month.
Harry was an influential player for the team during the 2008/2009 season when the 2nd XI were promoted to Division 2 for the first time since Alf Draper led them up in 1977. He now lives and works in China meaning appearances for OHAFC are few and far between. However, Harry managed two appearances for the side last season vs Oundle and Brentwood before having to return to the Far East.
The Club Treasurer, Charlie Reid, makes his long awaited comeback after captaining the 2nd XI in the blurry heights of Division 2 for two seasons (2008-2010). His leadership and energy will be welcomed in a game the side must win to reignite hopes of promotion.
The team on 5th January will also include 3 schoolboys - Karl Obi, James Breeden and Ogyen Verhagen (playing his fifth game for the Club).
