Rising star Azhar Khan has been handed the 3rd XI captaincy after Theo Gordon called time on a gutsy season long reign. Azhar has been given the full support of President Mike Keenan and Chairman Quentin Baker.

After establishing a solid core of players, Theo will remain as Vice Captain in place of Alex Elwell. He must be congratulated on his achievements over the last year and the Club thanks him for his efforts and continued commitment.

Azhar’s first game as captain last Saturday saw the 3s beat Brentwood in their own back yard to clinch their first three points of the season.

Also fulfilling the role of Hon. Recruitment Secretary, Azhar will have his hands full and we hope all Club members will provide him with the support he needs to drive OHAFC’s recruitment policy and achieve positive results for his team in the weeks ahead.
