Biennial Dinner - Hurlingham Club - 24th February
Tickets are now on sale for the biennial OHAFC dinner, due to take place on Friday 24 February 2017 in the prestigious surroundings of the Hurlingham Club. The dinner is not merely the biggest social event in the Club's calendar; it is arguably the biggest event in the Old Harrovian calendar too.
Please note that spaces are limited and places cannot be guaranteed for those who leave it late. Unfortunately, experience also tells us that we cannot hold places until you have paid for your ticket, so (as they say) please book now to avoid disappointment. Ticket prices are £75 for those aged 35 and over at the date of the dinner; £55 for those aged 25-34; and £35 for those under 25. That includes a three-course meal, coffee and chocolates; alcohol must be purchased on the night. Partners are welcome and indeed encouraged to attend. No-one should be prevented from attending the dinner through inability to pay so if you feel this applies to you please let Paul Molloy know.
There are two ways of making payment. Either you can send a cheque to the Hon Dinner Secretary, Paul Molloy, at 92 Selkirk Road, London, SW17 0EP. Or you can pay by electronic transfer to the club's account (please contact your skipper for these details). If you do the latter, please use the reference "Dinner" followed by your surname (plus an initial if another member shares your surname), and e-mail Paul (pmolloy@imediasport.com) to tell him you have paid.
When contacting Paul (whether by e-mail or post), please also tell him:
- The name of anyone apart from yourself for whom you are paying;
- Any dietary requirements which you or any of your guests have;
- If you are coming as part of a group with whom you want to sit, others in that group (N.B. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd team squad tables, so there is no need to say if you simply want to sit with your teammates).
Dress code is lounge suits (or equivalently smart for ladies) and the event starts at 6.15pm.
