3s win again despite Nugent dislocating finger
Despite losing goalkeeper Michael Nugent during the warm-up with a dislocated finger, the OHAFC 3rd XI continued their excellent run or form with a second consecutive 4-1 win, this time at home to the Old Malvernians 2s.
Some familiar names were on the scoresheet too with all the front three netting: Oli Walker scored twice but missed a golden opportunity for his hat-trick when he missed a second half penalty, with Ned Callander and Alex Cadisch both scoring one apiece.
At the other end, veteran Jon Sharples dutifully donned the 'keeper's gloves and made a couple of excellent saves as the 3s climbed above their opponents in the table into sixth - their highest placing of the season to date.
Saturday's team lineup and the match report will shortly be available in the results section.
