3s narrowly lose in first ever OHAFC midweek game

27 Apr 2017

The OHAFC 3rd XI suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat to the Old Rugbeians in the first ever competitive OHAFC fixture played on a midweek evening.

A strong squad of 13 was named by skipper Nick Kapoor for the 8pm kick-off in Hampton, the first time an OHAFC League or Cup game has not been played at the weekend.

Despite having the upper hand for long spells against the division leaders, a Jack Alhadeff goal wasn't enough to earn a share of the spoils as a goal in either half proved enough for the hosts.

The 3s finish their season on Saturday with one final away fixture, a trip to Uxbridge to face the Westminster 2s.

The team lineup from Wednesday night is now available in the results section with a match report due shortly.
