3s march on with record win over Kings Scholars
The OHAFC 3rd XI are on a roll: Saturday saw Nick Kapoor's men record their sixth successive League victory, in the process setting a new record for the most goals scored in an away League fixture by any OHAFC side since stats began in the 2009/10 season.
The 8-1 mauling of Kings Scholars, in what was a first ever meeting between the two clubs at any level, came courtesy of four goals from striker Alex Smith and one apiece from Connor Barrett and the two Bick brothers, Charlie and Harry.
With the side having played half their League fixtures, the lead at the top is two points over the Old Shirburnians, with Amplefordians a point further adrift. Both sides have been defeated by the OHAFC in recent weeks.
The 3s now have a week off before their next fixture at home to Epsom 2s when they will attempt to set a new club record of seven consecutive League wins.
Saturday's teamsheet is now available in the results section with a match report due shortly.
