3s finally succumb to League leaders
Despite racing into a 3-1 lead inside the first quarter of an hour, the OHAFC 3rd eventually found themselves over-powered by Division Four leaders the Old Kimboltonians, the visitors turning the tables in the second half to score four goals without reply and earn themselves a 5-3 victory that maintains their grip at the top of the table.
It was hard luck for another young, inexperienced OHAFC 3s side, who performed excellently in the first half. Early goals from the Walduck brothers, Tom and James, and striker Freddie Everett earned the hosts their shock 3-1 lead, one they maintained comfortably to the break.
But the second half saw the Kimboltonians in command and three goals inside a quarter of an hour early in the half turned the game on its head, a late fifth rubbing salt in Harrovian wounds.
The defeat leaves the OHAFC still in sixth in Division Four ahead of the visit of the Old Stoics to the Hill next weekend.
