3s Cup dreams ended by ruthless Johnians
26 Mar 2018
The OHAFC 3rd XI's hopes of Cup glory were comprehensively ended on Saturday afternoon when they were beaten 6-1 by Division Four leaders the Old Johnians in the semi-finals of the David Woolcott Trophy.
The tie was always likely to prove a tough task for Nick Kapoor's men with Johnians unbeaten in all competitions since November. And so it proved, with the hosts running out 6-1 winners to book their place in April's final against the Old Rugbeians.
Alex Smith scored Harrow's goal in the final moments but it was to prove little consolation.
The Blues must now lift themselves for their final two League games with one point still required to claim the Division Five South title.
