2s winless run continues as Eton gain revenge
The Old Etonian 2nd XI gained a modicum of revenge for the defeat handed to them by the OHAFC back in October as they won the return leg - in a game also played at Eton - 4-2 on Saturday morning.
With Storm Dennis approaching, an early kick-off was arranged to avoid the worst of the conditions. But this suited the Etonians more and they enjoyed the better of things for the majority of the game, earning a 3-1 lead at the break courtesy of a well-worked move that sprung the Harrow offside trap, sandwiched between a pair of goals from corners. The OHAFC had earlier taken the lead when Andres Hutchinson headed home following a free-kick.
The Blues started the second half well but had to wait until the 77th minute to score their second, Pablo Hutchinson firing home from a scramble at a corner. The Etonians quickly snuffed out any hopes of a late comeback however, scoring their fourth soon afterwards from yet another corner to ensure the League points would be shared this season.
The result sees Eton solidify their place in second in the Division, the OHAFC remain in third ahead of next weekend's crunch Junior League Cup semi-final at home to the Old Columbans.
