2s win first ever Old Boys Cup tie in style

23 Oct 2018

An excellent display from the OHAFC 2nd XI saw them breeze past the East Barnet Old Grammarians 3-0 in their first ever Old Boys Cup tie.

Pablo Hutchinson opened the scoring after twenty minutes and younger brother Andres should have made it two soon after when he was denied by the Barnet keeper.

The hosts withstood an aerial bombardment after half-time, but having done so they wrapped up the tie with two goals in ten minutes, Lederman converting a penalty after Geoff Taunton-Collins had been brought down and the same two players combining for the third, the veteran sending his skipper clean through to score at the second attempt.

The win earns the side a tricky-looking tie against Old Parkonians 2s in the quarter-final.
