A typical second-half goal from Gbeminiyi Soyinka ensures the OHAFC 2s are safe from relegation for another season following a battling 1-0 win away to the Old Chigwellians 2s in Essex on Saturday.
Despite the drop being an unlikely prospect given the trio of clubs struggling below them in the table, Saturday's win nonetheless allows the squad to relax and aim for a top-six finish in the three League games remaining.
After battling gamely in the first half playing into a strong wind, the Blues were nonetheless indebted to a stellar performance from Emre Sert in goal in keeping the scores level.
The second half proved far more enjoyable and substitute Soyinka ensured the points would be travelling back to London with a bundled close-range finish on the hour mark. The Blues hitman had several other chances to extend the lead but on this occasion one goal proved sufficient and the 2s move level on points with Chigs with a game in hand.
