Despite dominating the opening half-hour and the closing stages, the OHAFC 2nd XI came away empty-handed from Saturday's trip to Northwood to face Merchant Taylors' 1st XI. Taylors scored a goal in each half, both times against the run of play, the second coming just moments after Andres Hutchinson had crashed a shot against the inside of the post.

A late header from Geoff Taunton-Collins clipped the bar and the skipper then had his phone stolen later in the evening as it proved to be a day bereft of luck for the OHAFC 2s.

The defeat leaves the side still in seventh in the Division Two table with five games left to play this season.
