2nd half collapse sees 1s routed by Marlburians

23 Oct 2018

A poor second half display saw the OHAFC 1st XI lose for the second time in Division One this season, and in some style too, as a 1-0 lead was somehow converted into a 7-2 defeat come the final whistle.

A combination of some lethal Marlburian finishing and some slack Harrow defending, allied to the usual over-playing the wrong areas, saw the visitors score six in a one-sided second half, allowing them to replace the OHAFC at the top of the table.

Once again, poor availability hindered the side, with both Breeden brothers' absence particularly keenly felt.

The team need to regroup quickly with a daunting task facing them next: a trip to Charterhouse to face the holders in the first round of this year's Arthur Dunn Cup.
