1st XI survival hopes stuck in the mud
The OHAFC 1st XI, or what was left of it, with a number of players either injured or absent, made their way to Brentwood for the final game of 2014 but were comprehensively beaten 8-2 - a result that leaves them with the prospect of fighting to avoid relegation in the first few months of the new year.
Despite playing well for the majority of the first half, the visitors found themselves 5-2 down at the break thanks to a crazy ten minute spell that saw Brentwood recover from a goal down to lead 4-2. A fifth just before the break left Harrow with a mountain to climb.
The second half was a turgid affair with the pitch, poor at kick-off, deteriorating into a mud bath. Brentwood scored three goals late on to give the scoreline a one-sided look, but in truth Harrow were well beaten.
