1st XI exit Dunn Cup despite twice leading at Repton
The OHAFC 1st XI were knocked out of the Arthur Dunn Cup at the first time of asking on Saturday despite twice leading at First Division Repton.
Fred Richardson's men allayed any fears about the effects of the two and a half hour journey north with a competent display in a very even contest.
Harrow scored two fine goals. The first after just under half an hour saw Lederman cross for Baker to slot home, the home side equalising ten minutes later with a looping effort that looked more of a cross than a shot.
The visitors again led after an hour when Baker turned provider, supplying a perfect through ball for Harry Hoffen to run onto and fire past the 'keeper.
Unfortunately the Blues then committed footballing suicide and allowed their opponents to equalise within a minute. The winner was scored ten minutes later and again involved a slice of luck, the Repton striker somehow volleying a shot in from a narrow angle as he slid across the turf.
