1st XI continue to fall away as season nears end

16 Apr 2016

The OHAFC 1st XI appeared in name only on Saturday as a side containing only two regulars was eventually worn down by a more motivated Radley side on the Hill.

The hosts, basically fielding a 2nd XI, started the game brightly and led 2-1 at the break. But despite drawing level at 3-3, the visitors stole the points with a winner three minutes from time.

The defeat sees the 1's drop to second in the table for the first time since November and although promotion has already been assured, the result ensures next week's trip to leaders Brentwood for the final game of the season now carries little significance.
