1st XI complete hat-trick of pre-season wins

The OHAFC 1st XI completed a hat-trick of pre-season wins last night when they produced an encouraging display to see off Premier Division side Kings Wimbledon 2-0 at Colliers Wood FC.

Despite nearly falling behind when a Kings chip came back off the bar, Harrow were the better side in the first half and took the lead when Alex Gilbert finished comfortably from a Dan Firoozan through ball.

The second half was a more even affair until the closing stages when the Blues' superior fitness allowed them to counter at will. Fred Richardson tapped in the second after Lederman saw his fierce volley well-saved by the Kings goalkeeper.

The squad now look ready for the new season with the first competitive test at home to Repton on Saturday.
