1st XI stalwart Fred Milln faces an agonising wait for scan results after being diagnosed with high insertional hamstring tendinopathy.

Two weeks ago, the self-proclaimed hard man visited the Cromwell Hospital in Earls Court for ultrasound investigation, dry needling and an MRI scan which was deemed inconclusive following the results last Friday.

Fred will undergo further scans on Thursday this week with a best case scenario of avoiding surgery and returning in early October.
