1s again held by plucky Salopians
The OHAFC 1st XI were once again held to a 1-1 draw by the struggling Salopians on Saturday afternoon, the second time this season the sides have shared the points.
In a game played on the Kings House astroturf pitch in Chiswick, the hosts took the lead early in the second half following a corner that the Blues failed to clear. But, as in the previous meeting between the teams on the Hill, a penalty allowed the OHAFC to level, James Tippett converting after Doug Morrison had been brought down by the Salops keeper.
Both sides had chances to snatch the win late on, but ultimately neither side could find the decisive goal and were forced to settle for a point apiece. The Blues climb one place to sixth in the table, whilst the Salopians remain deep in trouble with just five points from nine games.
