An excellent performance from the 2s was spoilt by two late Marlborough goals.
Harrow went 1-0 up when Alan Greenberg awarded a penalty after a handball in the box. Soyinka calmly slotted home and Harrow were deservedly in front. However, an unfortunate equaliser just before half time meant the side had to settle for 1-1 at the break.
Debutant Ogyen Verhagen was impressing down the right and Joe Bone worked hard through the middle to release Soyinka on a number of occasions. Tiredness set in towards the end of the game though and Marlborough started to launch wave after wave of attack. Four minutes to spare and some sloppy marking at a corner saw Harrow go 2-1 down. A third followed at the final whistle as Harrow pushed forward.
Brentwood at home next week.
